AudioBooks CD
Audio books CD options have gained significant popularity.
When the possibility was first available, this was not the case. Before
CDs, the cassette was the standard option.
Today it might be difficult to imagine why an audio books CD was previously
less preferable. However, a lot of it has to do with technological convenience
that is often taken for granted today. Previously, players and options
were more centered around tapes. For this reason, they were much more
convenient at that time.
Unlike early audio books CD choices, cassettes allowed a listener to
pause the recording and pick it up wherever they left off. The first
CDs always required listeners to start over each time. More recently,
CD players now have the capability of resuming playback.
